R8cergirl Clothing- fashion for a function!
R8cergirl Clothing is a company founded by Audra Tienswang in September of 2001. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, where the import car scene was first born. Audra then relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in November of 1999. She started realizing there were not enough female racing apparel available after attending numerous car shows and racing events locally and back home in California.
The apparel that were available for the female car enthusiasts were too girly or had just logos, no cars. From that point, she created designs and iron on transferred them on t-shirts.
With the support and encouragement of her boyfriend Armando, they took it to a higher level by screen printing her designs. Armando's eight-year-old sister loves playing with toy cars and assumed boys can only race. When Armando mentioned to his baby sister that Audra races, she looked at it from a new perspective...that females can do anything as well as men can.
In Audra's opinion, she believes that a business should not just focus in taking the money and run from their customers. That is why she keeps in touch with a lot of her customers and maintain a friendship with them. R8cergirl is definitely fashion for a function!!!
